SCHOOL ACCESS

Before accessing WebCenter, please review the manual in the T-SEAS Document Library on Lotus Notes.

• WEBCENTER vs. PHONE SYSTEM

You will be able to Create, Review or Cancel Absences just as you would over the phone. Some of the extra features of WebCenter include creating non-consecutive but multiple-day absences (i.e. every Monday for one month) and you will be able to leave text messages for your sub teacher to review online. When you Review Absences, you will be able to review past absences as well. However, be aware that WebCenter has only unaudited data. For accurate and updated information, you must check with the School Administrative Services Assistant (SASA).


• WEBCENTER IS NOT A LEAVE ACCOUNTING SYSTEM

As mentioned above, WebCenter does not have teacher leave balances. T-SEAS is a leave-reporting system and a substitute teacher-finder system. Data that you may audit on the budget system will not be updated on the T-SEAS system. This unaudited data on the T-SEAS system is kept for only one year.

• CREATING PAST ABSENCES
Absences should be reported as soon as possible, however, if a teacher does not report an absence timely, the school administration may create the past absence (up to 90 days from the current date) on WebCenter. The T-SEAS Phone System will not allow you to create past absences. You can only do this on WebCenter. Due to this new option, the T-SEAS staff will no longer backdate absences.

• DO NOT MODIFY VERIFIED OR PROCESSED JOBS
If a job is already verified or processed on the budget system, DO NOT modify the job on WebCenter. It may cause overpayment or duplicate leave of absences to be deducted.
