BU05 EMPLOYEE ACCESS

Before accessing WebCenter, please review the manual, reference guide and the information below.

• WEBCENTER vs. PHONE SYSTEM

You will be able to Create, Review or Cancel Absences just as you would over the phone. Some of the extra features of WebCenter include creating non-consecutive but multiple-day absences (i.e. every Monday for one month) and you will be able to leave text messages for your sub teacher to review online. When you Review Absences, you will be able to review past absences as well. However, be aware that WebCenter has only unaudited data. For accurate and updated information, you must check with the School Administrative Services Assistant (SASA).


• WEBCENTER IS NOT A LEAVE ACCOUNTING SYSTEM

As mentioned above, WebCenter does not have your leave balances. T-SEAS is a leave-reporting system and a substitute teacher-finder system. You must keep your own careful records and check with your SASA for your updated balances. Furthermore, this unaudited data is kept for only one year.

• CREATING PAST ABSENCES: CONTACT YOUR SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION
  
  Report your absences as soon as possible. The T-SEAS Phone System and WebCenter will allow you to create absences for the current date (assuming it is a workday) and for a future date (up to 90 days from the current date). If you did not report an absence timely, you must contact your school administration. They will have the ability to report past absences (up to 90 days from the current date) for you.

• EFFECTIVE 07/12/2010: USER ID WILL BE YOUR 8-DIGIT EMPLOYEE ID, NOT YOUR SSN.
  
  Your Employee ID can be located on your Form 5, Box 1 (DOE ID).
